Are.
Done.
Are perpetually done.
The Infamous day was Seventy Seven years ago. The speech will happen tomorrow. But the day is today. Remember it.
How could we go all year without the reminder of this classic?
I didn’t think so, did you?
To Everyone.
EOM
Because in case you weren’t aware, they are done.
There’s not much else left to say here, just watch it, you know you want to.
You didn’t think you’d get through this year without this beautiful tradition would you? Well if you did, you were dead wrong. This tradition goes all the way back to the beginning. Although, back then it was posted in an off month, probably cause that’s when I stumbled to it. But since then, it’s moved to it’s traditional pre-Christmas – December showing. Yes, it is one of the most annoying and easily stuck in your head songs, but it’s worth it. If only for Tradition’s sake.

Come on, this is
a Christmas Tradition around these parts. You didn’t think you could get away with not seeing it this year could you?
Well you’d be wrong. And what better time to post it then at 12 minutes past the 12th hour, on the 12 day, of the 12th month of the 12th year of the 2nd millennium since semi accurate time keeping was invented?
I’d say nothing, and I’d be right, damnit.
Another year has gone by, and still that mighty ship rests at the bottom of the harbor as a reminder of battle fought 71 years ago.
To many people today this is just another day of the week (Friday this year). And pretty soon it will be just a stepping stone of major events in American History (if it isn’t already).
I still believe that the event that happened 71 years ago can be counted among the most important days in the history of The World. It’s a short list, and to be honest, it’s a very Americanized list, I’m open to suggestions, but those who have been following me for years know of my take on this faithful day.
There were an infinite number of outcomes to what would happen Sunday, December 7, 1941 over in the Pacific ocean. The universe I inhabit right now (which until we meet (and even as we are talking standing next to each other) is not the same one you reading this right now are in), was paved by the events of that day. Each and every micro decision consciously and subconsciously made effected the outcome of where we are today.
So sit back, take a moment and reflect on that.
