It’s no secret that I am a great Jake and Amir fan. It might be immature of me but it’s one of those things that has stuck with me for many years. Every so often I go back and watch videos of them at random and I still crack up. It’s hard to choose a favorite from among their hundreds of videos, each one has great lines and moments. They’ve had many recurring jokes over the years, but one that was small (pun intended) and used a few of times has an unnaturally large following. I’m talking about going dickless for Chiklis. That’s right it’s an unexplainable phrase that made it’s debut in “Reddit” was followed up a year and a half later in “Reddit 2” until it was referenced a third and final time in Part 6 of the Finale.
It got to a point where people would @MichaelChiklis on Twitter the joke. Eventually he found out and enjoyed it enough to stick with it. Well this past weekend the joke has reached it’s conclusion. Michael Chiklis himself went dickless:

It’s been a long time since Jake and Amir were regularly making videos. I remember it like it was yesterday honestly, I can’t believe it’s been 3 or 4 years. Any Hootie and the Blowfish, they recently joined back up on Patreon and are uploading Jake and Amir watch, Jake and Amir, it’s like director commentary on DVDs back in the day. Just pop it in, press play and enjoy the ride.
Or, pay them some money and watch them watch themselves. This above video is from Milk Man I and II with Ben Schwartz. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t a big fan of the Milk Man set, but it’s fun to watch them reminisce about times past. I almost want to sign up and watch, but they’re only like 20 episodes deep and they have over 800 to total. Or that’s what I heard. It seems right.
I remember stumbling to the videos years and years ago. Remember stumble-upon. Man those were good times. I know Tuesdays and Thursdays I was refreshing the homepage waiting for the new video to drop. Then before I had found the reddit community, I would hope to be one of the first to add a comment to their page.
Many good times watching them. I still use many of the phrases in my common every day words. It’s impressive, kind of. Some people don’t really get it, but I do, and that’s what matters.
Check it out, pay them.
Are perpetually done.
How could we go all year without the reminder of this classic?
I didn’t think so, did you?
This is an interesting update to the classic video The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny. However, it’s filled with recent additions to the super-hero landscape. Sure there are some classics: The T-800, Indy, Luke, but all newer takes on the famous heroes/villains of modern times. Plus, there’s no catchy music playing in the background. Maybe that’s what I miss the most. Anyway, watch the above, it’ll keep you enjoyed for 8 minutes, then watch the original after the break:
2017 really is strange isn’t it? I’m turning into a political extravaganza with all of these posts. I will say though, I like comedy, especially the above video which is mostly in English. What good is being worried if you can’t laugh at the ridiculousness of the world. Besides, do you really think things are going to spiral out of control? No Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, I don’t.
Looks like tons of fun honestly.
Because it’s a Christmas Tradition!
