The Hover Bike

Remember Colin Furze, he dug a bunker in his back yard for some reason.  Well here he has built a hover bike, curtesy of Ford

It’s pretty cool, but it looks like it’s far to heavy to be useful.  Even with all the weight he cut off of it, it seems like it should still be a dozen or so pounds lighter.  It does look cool though.  I kind of want to ride it.

The Gear Ring

I like that. It’s simple, yet complicated at the same time. I wonder how hard it is to break. Also, it’s gotta get filled with crap and gunk real easy over time I bet. How do you clean it?

Thanks vic!

I love this Giant Treehouse

There’s something about a Treehouse that is just purely awesome.  What’s cooler then being above the ground suspended in a tree? (OK, maybe living underground protected by the earth).  I have a treehouse, its small and square and has a roof, but is still cool.

This guy though, he takes the cake for the best treehouse ever made ever.  It weighs in at97 feet high, with  10 floors, ~10,000 square feet, and over 258,000 nails.  The only things missing are running water, heat, and electricity.  I wonder if the state is collecting taxes on all this living space he’s built over the last 14 years?  (That’s why you make a bunker, no one can see it, no one can tax you)

It’s main support is in an 80 tall White Oak, that’s up to 12 feet wide at the base, but there are 6 other trees holding it up from the sides I’d imagine.

Look at that, it looks like a real house.  The floors are straight, and level, and not loopsided like how I would envision a 10 story treehouse.

There’s a lookout/Bell tower.  That is awesome.

I really think that the decoration on those support arches is beautiful, it gives it character, and does something with those extra useless pieces of wood.

Social Mosaic

The concept is good, but the actual thing, not so much.  The idea is that you and others take multi-colored square things, and try and make a picture with them.  Its a neat idea, but if you try it out, you find that its nearly impossible to make something once you have random other people moving your dots all the time.  Frankly I got the above mosaic by leaving the window open for about 5 hours, and waiting for someone else to do something.  Then while I was writing this post, it changed to something else, and I’m sure by the time you read this, it will again be different.  I guess that’s what makes it interesting, in a sense.  Try it out for yourself if you w ant

Your own Custom Fonts

This is one of the coolest websites ever to be created.  Font Capture has a template that you print out, fill out, scan in, and from it, it will create a free font for you, based on your handwriting.  For the longest time I wanted to create my own fonts to use in designs, and stuff, but never had the time to learn how, this is simple, so far I’ve made 3 fonts, and I’m gonna keep going until I get the bests of them all in one font.

Here’s my current best looking one: lord.xeon I want to make some changes to some of the letters though.  It’s also hard cause I sometimes write letters 2 different ways in the same sentence.  Oh well.  Maybe I should try left-handed, that’d be weird.

You gotta write your letters inside those boxes, but there are no guides, at least when I write notes and stuff, the paper is lined.  So in my first font I made, nothing lines up right, and the period, and comma end up being in the center of the line, and some letters don’t go all the way to the bottom.  Also, my fonts are very small, but I guess that’s a better representation of my handwriting, which is small.

On a side note, I foresee this service as providing an excellent means for the future of ransom notes.  If you use mine, make sure you write it in purple ink, cause that’s the only ink I use.

Like the name?  I was inspired by Xbox live names.  people think all those X’s are cool.  I see them and laugh, and then mute their 10yr old asses.  And then proceed to kick their asses.  Anyway, I felt that Stumbles 15 deserved a “cool name”  so I made it Roman Numeral, and added some “cool” X’s in there for fun.  And no, there are no pictures of naked people in here.

Anyway, enjoy the Stumbles, and those  useful post-it notes that should be made now. {source}

Guitair Table

Here’s a custom guitar table.  It looks nice, and can be added to the gallery of awesome custom coffee tables, but seeing as I’m not much of a musician, I wouldn’t get this table.  The table costs $750, which isn’t bad considering how much  mine was, and it looks nice, from the photos, it’s clear that these people make well crafted products.

Lovely Woodwork

From the same people who made the Marble Table, come the lovely woodwork joints above.  Ontwerpdup makes them, among some other cool ideas.  Although, my two favorites are the able, and those joints  And is it me, or does that little peice of dark wood in the middle look like a Tetris peice?

My Interactive LED Table

LED table

A few months ago I saw this Interactive LED Table on a bunch of blogs and instantly knew I must have my own. I contacted the people over at Evil Mad Scientist about their kits, and put in my order. That was in October, and I have been slowly building my table since then.

Monday, the electronic parts to my table came in the mail, I was thrilled, and since then, I have been assembling it. It looks pretty as you can tell from the above image. You can skip the whole walk through process and view the final table here. Or after the click you can get the whole step by step process it took to build it:
