Cat Drawings

A Hilbert curve is one of those weird things in mathematics.  Does it have any use in real life, or is it just something to theorize about?  Well, this is the modern age, we have the technology to make complex Hilbert curves in real life.  This is also the internet, which is a series of tubes to send cat pictures to each other.

It’s only fitting that someone wrote code, and made a machine to draw a cat inside of a Hilbert Curve.

It’s a really boring video, honestly.

Stumble XX – Return of the Wrong

Where to begin?  It’s been awhile since there have been equal parts amazing, awesome, memorizing, and just plain wrong in a single Stumble Bust.  This is a few months in the making, but I figure I might as well post it now.  I’m afraid that if I wait any longer I might mortally offend some people.

So without further ado, (if you’re reading this from an RSS feed that is), here are the latest wrong stumbles. (If you’re reading this on the actual home page, well then you gotta click something else, sorry).

Cats rule the world

cat cannon

Well, at least the internet.  But these photos unearthed by The Atlantic show that even 100 years ago, people were still obsessed with cats.  I’d go so far as to say that the humans were mistreating their feline friends, but I have a feeling that the cats had it all part of the plan.

Engineer’s Guide to Cats 2

Back by popular demand is The Engineer’s guide to Cats.  This is the 2nd entry in that series, nearly 4 years after the original.  Science takes some time I guess.  It’s just as strange, so be warned.

Skydive Mishap

I’m warning you, this video is headache Cost levitra inducing.  But it’s an interesting point of view.  While on a skydive from 12,500 feet up, a helmet-mounted GoPro camera got knocked loose on exit of the plane.  Naturally it was still rolling and capturing the video all the way down.

The video itself is 8 minutes long, but the free-fall is only the first 2 and a half of those minutes.  It’s very dizzy.

Using my advanced internet skills, I have determined that the terminal velocity of it is no more then 60mph, so apparently a GoPro camera can sustain impacts of around 60mph.

Carol of The Bells

Carol of the Bells is the Best Christmas song of all time, just in time for Santa’s trip around the world.

Probably the most famous rendition of it is Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Christmas Eve/ Sarajevo 12/24.  It’s my favorite one that’s for sure.  Here is the video in all it’s awesome glory:

From the people who brought us the Engineer’s Guide to Cats comes some weird Laser Beam Cats to Carol of The Bells:

And, just to be sure you all will hate me, Ding Fries Are Done:

Goodnight, and Merry Christmas everyone.
