This is still far from finished, but it would be a way to breathe new life into those old lcds from old laptops.

projector pt. IV

Its done….almost, turns out Lumen Lab sent me the wrong lense, instead of a 320mm lense, and a 220 mm lense, they sent two (2) 220 mm lenses.

The image focuses, but, not too well past 5 feet from the front of the projector.

So, we got alot of work done today, and, we’re almost done, however, i think we may have put the lcd screen in backwards or something, but, we wont know until we put the mirror in, and, that hasnt arrived yet, oh well.

Projector pt. II

So today we made huge progress on the projector.

We stripped the LCD, we made a frame for the box, and ultimately decided to build the box too.

those are some massive fans, they take 24 volts though, we can figure out how to come up with that anyway.

CD Lamp

Got tons of CDs laying around the house? Why Not turn them into a lamp?

I gotta say, that is a nice alternative use for AOL cds and car scratched cds.

However, if you don’t have quite enough cds to create that lamp, why not try some alternative uses: Or donations.

UNEASYsilence!

This is the result of an ongoing effort to create “BUZZ” about UNEASYsilence.

Connected to the post here. After some time, we found a “useful” use for the 200 feet or so of cable we found the other day. We spelled out UNEASYsilence.com on the bridge for all the school to see. Hopefully this will create som “BUZZ”
