Reddit user yavin427 has hooked up an Amazon Echo to his living room blinds so that he can say “Alexa turn off blinds” and they close, or vice versa. He has a not too detailed, but pretty detailed imgur album you can look through where he shows the process. I may be a programmer, but I don’t know the first thing about using Arduinos, so all of that part is magic to me. The Amazon Echo part is a pretty basic API from what I can assume, that code I could probably write no problem.
I’m not quite sure why there’s a delay. It looks good actually, maybe if it were alittle faster it would be a cooler delay.
