Centrifuged Espresso

You can file this under the “why?” category.  The same one that has the motto: just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.  But then again, this is Deadly Computer, we push the limits of things we can do.

Way back in 2007, James Hoffman got himself a centrifuge.  He then decided that he wanted to see what would happen when he put some espresso into it.  Well, you can pretty much guess what happened.  The coffee, and oils and fine grounds seperated, and all tasted nasty.

I have to give him credit for trying the extracted oil from the espresso.  I don’t know if I would.  It’s super concentrated, and apparently nasty tasting.  But hey, this is all for “science” right?
