Charlie 4

It’s a Holiday miracle!

Although, I have to say that this one was not nearly as good as the previous ones.  The song was probably the best one after the first, but the whole thing itself felt short.  Very short.

It looks like this could be the end of the series, but I doubt, and hope that it’s not.

We’re still Here

Guess what didn’t happen yesterday?!

For the 4th time in my memory, the world did not end when so many people were convinced it would.  Although, I do have to say, that on my drive into work the weather was dreadful, and it certainty looked bad.  But alas,

nothing came of it.

So, how long until the next time this is supposed to happen?

Come on, this is

a Christmas Tradition around these parts.  You didn’t think you could get away with not seeing it this year could you?

Well you’d be wrong.  And what better time to post it then at 12 minutes past the 12th hour, on the 12 day, of the 12th month of the 12th year of the 2nd millennium since semi accurate time keeping was invented?

I’d say nothing, and I’d be right, damnit.

Stumble Dump

It’s been awhile since the last one of these.  And the name is a misnomer now, since 90% of these images came from reddit.  But you can’t change tradition, so we’re just gonna stick with the name we got right now and live with it.  I’m ok with it, are you?

Anyway, since it’s Christmas time,  let’s start the ball rolling with a perfect gif:

Dec. 7.

Pearl Harbor

Another year has gone by, and still that mighty ship rests at the bottom of the harbor as a reminder of battle fought 71 years ago.

To many people today this is just another day of the week (Friday this year).  And pretty soon it will be just a stepping stone of major events in American History (if it isn’t already).

I still believe that the event that happened 71 years ago can be counted among the most important days in the history of The World.  It’s a short list, and to be honest, it’s a very Americanized list, I’m open to suggestions, but those who have been following me for years know of my take on this faithful day.

There were an infinite number of outcomes to what would happen Sunday, December 7, 1941 over in the Pacific ocean.  The universe I inhabit right now (which until we meet (and even as we are talking standing next to each other) is not the same one you reading this right now are in), was paved by the events of that day.  Each and every micro decision consciously and subconsciously made effected the outcome of where we are today.

So sit back, take a moment and reflect on that.

Empire State Building LEDs

So, apparently the Empire State Building upgraded the lights on their roof to be LEDs.  I have to say, that was an excellent choice.  I’ve always accepted the 3 different colors as simple fact and never requested more, usually when you do that complicates things.  But now that I’ve seen this I have to say that that was a very well made choice.

Hopefully things wont get too crazy later on, and it won’t be a different display every night, or week, or month, or whatever.  I like the simplicity of thing, no need to go crazy.  And if all

else fails, red, white, & blue will never go out of style.

Also, since it’s all high tec, and LED and whatnot, I bet it’s computer controlled, and if it’s computer controlled, I bet it’s connected to the internet somewhere, and, if it’s connected to the internet, then it’s hackable.  How long before you think it gets hacked to display something unapproved?

I give it 6 months.

Nicolas Cage is Everyone

Well, not everyone, but alot bupropion of people.  So many people, from so many movies it’s kinda scary.  There’s some good edits, and some bad ones, some good mesh, and bad mesh, but all in all, Nicolas Cage works in many places.  He should be in more places.  Many more.
