Ziggy comics creator Tom Wilson passed away last week. It’s sad, until you realize that for the past 24 years his son Tom Wilson Jr. has been writing the Ziggy comics that appear daily. So in reality, it’s sad that the creator passed away, but there won’t not be Ziggy in the news paper tomorrow.
Ok, I just wanted a reason to post the All Your Base video.
It’s been awhile since I posted about Tetris, granted, not much can change in a 26 year old game. There’s only so many times you can see it on the side of a building before it gets repettitive. This however is a new way to play Tetirs.
What’s more, the people who made it, some smart people at MIT, made 2 of them, and made them multiplayer.
Now I’ll be the first to admit that there is almost no way to make versus Tetris enjoyable, either to play or to watch. And, I won’t say that this was fun to watch, because the guy on the right was absolutely horrible at it. I don’t know if I want to give him the benefit of the doubt and saying he lost on purpose to the girl, (which is acceptable), but the way he played is just not acceptable. You can let some one win, and you can just utterly suck at something, I’m afraid that that guy falls into the latter.
Have you ever had the need to weld plastic together? Maybe you don’t do enough DIY stuff, or, maybe you just don’t do stuff with plastic, or, maybe you just aren’t strange.
Either way, this is damn usefull information to know. I’ve spent all these years ghetto molding plastic together with the end of a hot glue gun. Yes, it was ghetto, but it worked, pretty decently too. But I might want to invest in one of these plastic welding guns, because as I said above, they are extremely usefull for people like me.
6x6World has the rest of the scans of this instruction manual that looks like it was made in the 1950s. But thats good, cause like everything form the 1950s, it was made to last.
I feel like I should explain my dissaparence from the blog for the past few weeks. Well, quite simply it can be told in one sentence. I am busy doing research on land. In case you didn’t know, there is alot of things to know about buying land. And for the past month or so that is what has been eating up all of my free time. And when I take a break from doing research on land, I start doing research on building a house. And wouldn’t you know it, there’s 10× as much information on home building then there is on land research. So I’ve had plenty of things on my mind recently.
I’m not forgetting all of you deer readers, but, I am just finding it hard to concentrate on writing interesting, unique posts that are not just a rehash of somewhere else, cause that would be dumb.
Anyway, I’ve just about come to a bursting point on land buying information, so hopefully I’ll have space to actually get some good posts in. But you never know.
