Lose/Lose looks like a regular old shoot the aliens game doesn’t it? Well it its, to a point. Every alien is a representation of a file on your hard drive. When you kill an alien, you permanently delete that file. It’s a random file too. The only up part is that, when you die, the game uninstalls itself. So you are stuck in the loop of, play the game and go for a high score and risk the chance of destroying your computer, or playing it safe, and not doing anything (in which case, why did you install the game to begin with?).
This take on a game is so unique it borders on awesome. I’m torn, I don’t know what I’m gonna do, but since I’m gonna upgrade to Windows 7 soon, maybe I’ll just say the hell with it, and go for the global high score.
