Google Finance Favicon

Well, it seems someone at Google is listening to us (but they already said they were).  Google Finance has a favicon: I like it, it fits, and it is Googly, unlike their new “g” one…

Jury Duty downtime

I has it. So there will probably not be many updates this week.  But I’ll try to get some in in the evenings anyway.

Photo Winners

Alright, after a very lack luster response to my Photo survey from last week, I have some winners.  Only 9 people responded, and one I had to not count cause they checked all of them, and that’s not what I was looking for. Here are the 4 that you choose: IMG_2735 copy – 8 chicago … Continued

The Happening

M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie The Happening came out yesterday. I saw it.  I enjoyed it.  Now I want to talk about it.  Or, more specifically, Shyamalan himself. It seems that no one (at least critics, and well, people in general I guess) respects him as a director.  And I don’t know if they ever … Continued

Google’s Favicon Feedback

Well, it seems that there are a whole bunch of people who don’t like Google’s new favicon that they switched to last week.  John Michael Boling set up an internet petition to bring back Google’s old one. I.Q. Test

Apparently, I have an I.Q. of 108 after taking the A.E.C Offical I.Q. Test, for 2004-2005.  Not bad, that’s average apparently.  I don’t know.  It was a 20 minute timed test asking various math, matching, and geometry problems.  I was able to get all the geometry ones, those were easy.  The math ones were alright, … Continued

The Monowheel

Ben Wilson created a pretty nice looking monowheel.  It looks uncomfortable, and having only one gear could be a bit of a problem going up hills, and, wheres the breaks?  Otherwise, its an interesting design, for something that no one really needs, but kudos to you for making it. {Source}

Will You Survive an Animal Attack?

Brought To You By Sex Stores Ah, what silly wastes of time these things provide. This one was entertaining at the end, because notably missing from the chart above but not the final printout the give is “Human” I have a 15% chance of surviving an attack by a human. Missing from both is “Robot” … Continued

World Bear Project

Just read this sales pitch from the World Bear Project: Founded in 2008, the World Bear program began with a mother’s love and ends with you today. It began with a young boy in a poverty-stricken section of South Africa, loved nothing more than his stuffed toy, a simple teddy bear. He also had a … Continued
