I’ve had my fair share of book mutilation posts, and to be honest, this latest one isn’t very in-depth by any means when you compare them to previous ones.  But I imagine it will cause nearly just as much controversy, if only because of the number of Bibles that are used.

Honestly, I don’t think it’s very special.  I don’t mean to be all mean about it, but it’s all very simplistic, yes, there are some cute titles of books choosen to be made into guns (see above comment about the Bibles), but they’re all very clear cut (pun intended) stencil images.

Let’s get some coffee table books, and make assault rifles.  I’d love an AK (for realz).  So come on Robert The, step it up a notch.

I can think of a few different effects that that can be used to represent in some movies.  Put it on a green-screen (or probably have to be a black screen so you can see the bubble better), and then you can have like ships appear out of nowhere in space, and force fields, and all sorts of other cool sci-fi things.

Sadly, those effects will have no effect on protecting you from Velociraptors.

I’m opening up to Katy Perry, the more I hear her the more I like her, then I get normal again.  That being said, I don’t like Hot N Cold.  But I love this cover of it:

Billy Joel is the opposite of bad music.  But this video that combines all the tracks from his Greatest Hits Vol. 1 CD, and plays them all simultaneously is borderline annoying, in a good way.  Wait till about the 3min mark, and you can start making out some of them, and once you get to over 5 there’s really only 2 songs left.

Another not bad song made interesting is KT Tunstall’s Glamour Puss.  The vocals were KT Tunstall, but the rest of the video is a bunch of fans playing different types of instruments to get the music in, crowd sourced style.  It’s pretty good:

Watching that video at midnight super tired and by accident is not a good idea.  Also, I the faces he makes in it are awesome, and the whole song is now stuck in my head.
