The most impressive part of this marble run is the fact that much of it is carved out of food. Look at the organic shapes made. It must have taken the guy ages to get all that detail in it. It doesn’t hurt that marble runs are just fun to watch.
My trip this past weekend brought me down to Los Angeles, city of Angels. It is also the home of Fox Plaza, which served as the setting for the greatest film of all time, Die Hard. Naturally, being in Los Angeles for the first time, I had to visit this monument to film making. You will … Continued
This is an interesting update to the classic video The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny. However, it’s filled with recent additions to the super-hero landscape. Sure there are some classics: The T-800, Indy, Luke, but all newer takes on the famous heroes/villains of modern times. Plus, there’s no catchy music playing in the background. Maybe … Continued
This Short Film, Pearl, by Patrick Osborne is nominated for an Academy Award for Short Film at the 2017 Academy Awards. The short itself isn’t bad, what makes it unique is that it’s shot in 360°. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it doesn’t make great use of the 360° format. Most of the action that happens is though … Continued
You know the words. If that’s not your thing, then take a gander at this trailer for the documentary of the events from 28 years ago.
Cuyahoga Valley National Park is located right outside of Cleveland Ohio, and unlike Niagara Falls, is actually directly on the way to Chicago. So I’m totally going to being stopping there as I make my way across the nation for Thanksgiving. It’s sorta like Vacation, except, it’s not going to be as crazy, or dangerous, … Continued
Nazis on the Moon, Reptilian Margaret Thatcher. Nazis in general. This looks like an awesome film doesn’t it? Historically accurate documentary is what I would call it. Luckily, the Indiegogo campaign is fulfilled, so this scene can actually happen in the final film. Aren’t you excited?
I might be 4 years past due here, but this series has been extremely fun to watch. It’s also been a learning experience. You know, back to the basics of The History Channel. Before it turned into shitty reality TV and half-baked conspiracy theories. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good conspiracy theory, and … Continued
Hugh Jackman as Wolverine is one of those castings that just fit perfectly. His portrayal of the character, his enjoyment of it is something rare in the movie business. That makes the above trailer all the more sad as it’s his final time playing the pivotal mutant. The movie, named simply Logan is set in the future, … Continued
My worst fears are coming true. That is the above trailer for the first spin off of the Star Wars franchise. Tell me, does it look like a traditional Star Wars film? Come on, answer that question honestly. If you removed the obviously Star Wars things, TIE Fighters, and Storm Troopers, what do you have? … Continued
