Here are 16 famous photographs recreated using LEGOs. The detail is LEGO sized, but the idea is pretty cool nonetheless. All of them are good. I don’t get why Storm Troopers and Han Solo were used in the flower one, but whatever.

Good-Thing.net has set up some awesome sets of murder, LEGO style. Be careful though, some of them are pretty gruesome, even for plastic people.

Google’s logo today is meant to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the LEGO brick, and it has shot up to be my all time most favorite Google Logo ever. I tried to make one a few years ago, it came out alright.

While some of these LEGO celebrities are good, some are just scary, like Lincoln, i’d be scared of that person. And Elvis, well, Elvis is ok.

Probably my most favorite version of Tetris to date. The end really is amazing, and totally makes it worth it.

That is General Grievous’s starship, The Invisible Hand, from Star Wars Episode III, made out of LEGOs, 30 lbs to be exact, that’s alot. The work of LEGO master builder Mark Kelso, she is 231 studs long, and 41 studs wide at her widest point. She also has a streamlined apperance due to the few exposed studs design he choose to go with. It gives it a unique look, and also added tons of extra time, and money to it. Personally, i like models with the studs exposed, makes them LEGO.
Anyway, here are some more photos:
See all smooth, crazy, or beautiful, you decide?
nice engines.
That’s the builder, and yes, that is to scale, amazing…

There are some great works of art made of LEGOs floating around the world. Here are a bunch made by one LEGO Brick Master. My favorites are the tree above, and the two below this text. The flowers, though small, are a nice touch.

It’s things like this which is why LEGOs were invented. A complete LEGO scaled model of a spaceship. 100% custom made and designed, the detail on this is amazing. Something you don’t get from other sets I’ve seen.
There’s so many more photos on the website, and so much information, i suggest you go read it all now, it’s worth it.

Holy crap this is one advanced form of Lego engineering right here!
An entire Lego factory built to make little Lego cars! It’s huge, it’s insane, it’s just awesome. I can only imagine how many hours of time were spent making this work as perfectly as it does.
