See through TV

Not so much a transparent tv, but more like a projector projecting onto glass, with see through speakers.  Still damn cool if you ask me.

pretty in pink

Sony is releasing a pink version of its massively popular Playstation 2 consol, and, its massively less popular Playstation Portable.
The PS2 will hit sores on November 08, 2006, and the PSP will be in stores earlier on October 27, 2006. One slight hitch, they’re currently only avaliable in Europe…dang…
Sony Press Release

A Little Alliteration

Oh I crack myself up. Anyway, Gizmodo is reporting on an Inquirer article about how the Cell processor present in the PlayStation 3 has basically taken a nose dive.
An IBM Semiconductor VP says they’re “lucky to get 10 or 20 percent” out of a chip like the Cell. The other 80-90 percent aren’t fit to [...]

the $499 model will lack support for Memory Sticks, SD and Compact Flash cards, no built-in Wi-Fi and will surprisingly have the HDMI output removed (necessary for achieving the much bragged about 1080p screen resolution).
I figured that Sony’s entire [...]

N64 on the PSP

An open source N64 emulator for the PSP has surfaced here
However, it’s still early in development, and large roms do not work, audio does not work, no save game function, among others.

No more UMD’s……at all?

According to Kotaku (not exactly the best source for info but hey…I hate Sony and their source seems decent enough) Sony will not be using UMD’s in the next iteration of the PSP. Plus it may be introduced in the next 3 years. A little scared of the Game Boy Evolution? I think so.
rumor has [...]
