Coin Rings
At first glance this seems pretty cool doesn’t it. A nice ring made of an old Quarter, or Half Dollar, or even Dollar. But, after watching a demonstration video, and reading up on it. It seems like a huge amount of time and effort for something that you can only see when you’re not wearing it.
Don’t get me wrong, the DIYer in me wants to do this, but knowing I spent upwards of $30 for an ounce of silver, and now I’m drilling and filing out the inside of it, potentially wasting thousands of milligrams of silver to dust, and it just doesn’t seem right to me.
I still want to make one though.
