LEGO Star ship – gigantic!

That is General Grievous’s starship, The Invisible Hand, from Star Wars Episode III, made out of LEGOs, 30 lbs to be exact, that’s alot.  The work of LEGO master builder Mark Kelso, she is  231 studs long, and 41 studs wide at her widest point.  She also has a streamlined apperance due to the few exposed studs design he choose to go with.  It gives it a unique look, and also added tons of extra time, and money to it.  Personally, i like models with the studs exposed, makes them LEGO.

Anyway, here are some more photos:

See all smooth, crazy, or beautiful, you decide?

nice engines.

That’s the builder, and yes, that is to scale, amazing…

  1. Not saying it’s horrible, but the front section doesn’t look right. but it’s LEGO, so that’s an excuse. I also like the engine detail.

  2. Ooh gosh i just typed a long comment and when i submitted it it came up blank! Please please tell me it worked properly? I dont want to write it again if i dont have to! Either the blog glitced out or i am an idiot, the second option doesnt surprise me lol.

  4. That looks very realisticIt’s a Providence class destroyer right. Those ships have lots of fire power. Even though you can’t see them on your modle i am sure that you have tons of weapons on that thing. please send me a blue print and mark down where all the guns and other weapons are.
