That right there is a 1:1900 scale model of the Sydney Harbor Bridge assembled by Brian Sheehy from Sydney, Australia.  He built it over the course of 6 months in 1984-85 total of 420 hours he put into it using 9,734 matchsticks and split paddlepop sticks.  He used regular wood glue, and the sprayed it with 2 coats of lacqure.
