LEDs from Christmas Lights
Red-tag Joe has a nice DIY project on hacking a Christmas Light String into usable indicidual LEDs. Reasons for doing this:
A. Its cheaper. ($25.00 for a string of 70 blue!)
B. Its fun. (come on, DIY everyone loves it!)

yeh and the word’s spreading so folks on ebay are now hiking the prices of these string lights.. good work guys what a way to screw up a good thing.
